They give you the knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare you for employment or higher education. They also provide career development opportunities for those already in work by enhancing existing qualifications.





The approved BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) requires you to study 3 subjects from those offered in the Award section above and provides a choice of 3 certificate pathways  that specialises in:

  1. Mechanical Engineering
  2. Electronic Engineering
  3. Electrical Engineering

We also offer an upgrade path to Diplomas.

The BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) requires you to study 6 subjects from those offered in the Award section above. If you have an existing BTEC Level 3 Certificate, you also may be able upgrade to a Diploma by adding just 3 subjects. Diplomas also offer a direct route to our HNC/HND courses.   • 6 unit Diploma – £850 (£320 savings against full price of £1170 for 6 units – if paid in full)
  • 9 unit Diploma – 1195 (£560 savings against full price of £1755 for 6 units – if paid in full)
  • 3 unit upgrade –  £450.00 (upgrade your certificate or diploma to the next qualification stage)
