If you already have 3 BTEC units from a Certificate, you can upgrade to a ’60 credit Diploma’ by completing only 3 additional units (the additional units will be depend on what units you have already completed) :

9 Unit Diploma ‘Upgrade’ (up to 84 new UCAS points)

If you already have 6 BTEC units such as those listed above, you can upgrade to a ’90 credit Diploma’ by completing only 3 additional units from those listed below:

  1. Engineering Drawing  for Technicians or Electrical Technology
  2. Principles and Applications of Fluid Mechanics or Electrical Installation
  3. Principles and Applications of Thermodynamics or Analogue Electronics

Each unit is further split into bite sized topics to make studying easier via our online Moodle education platform. You will be have 2 assessments for each unit. The above prices exclude the Edexcel BTEC registration fee (see support page for details), and some units may require some tools / materials (click on individual units for material costs). If you have specific diploma unit requirements which are different than those listed above, please indicate these on your PayPal instructions and enrolment form. Also indicate if the course is for another person.

 

Each unit is further split into bite sized topics to make studying easier via our online Moodle education platform. You will be assessed as you work through each topic, so there is no large end of course assessment. Also remember you have access to your tutor every step of the way
