Electrical and Electronics Engineering is all about designing, developing and maintaining electrical and electronic systems. Today’s modern society is dependent on highly skilled technicians and engineers provide and maintain a wide range of ‘high tech’ machines and equipment. This qualification aims to further broaden your technical knowledge in this field of engineering with more relevant subjects

We currently offer this 9 unit Diploma with the option to upgrade to a 12 unit Diploma if further knowledge and UCAS points are required. Both will be accepted as meeting the entry requirements to our proposed HNC/HND Engineering courses, which we plan to launch in 2017.

9 unit Diploma (up to 84 new UCAS points)

3 unit upgrade to 12 unit Diploma (up to 112 new UCAS points)

If you already have 9 BTEC units such as those listed above, you can upgrade to a ’12 unit Diploma (TJH23)’ by completing only 3 additional units as listed below:

Although all your course material will be available online;  you will require some hardware components to complete the practical elements of the PAEDC unit. Each unit is further split into bite sized topics to make studying easier via our online Moodle education platform. You will be have 2 assessments for each unit. The above prices exclude the Edexcel BTEC registration fee, and some units may require some tools / materials (click on individual units for material costs)
