This fast track extended diploma qualifications have been designed for:
- learners who can commit 15-20 hours per week, and
- who are looking for direct entry into University engineering degree courses
The qualifications give learners the opportunity to:
- develop core skills in communication, mathematics, health and safety in the engineering workplace
- develop their technical knowledge, in a wide range of engineering fields – Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic
- achieve a nationally-recognised Level 3 qualification.

Each unit is further split into bite sized topics to make studying easier via our online Moodle education platform. You will be have 2 assessments for each unit. If you have specific unit requirements which are different than those listed above, please indicate these on your enrolment form and discuss with your tutor.

If you already have already completed 12 units such as those listed above, you may be able to upgrade to a BTEC 18-unit Diploma by completing only 6 additional units. These may be core, technical or a mix of units depending on your current qualifications
