For learners considering L3 Electrical and Electronic Certs/Dip (9/12/18 unit courses)
A range of electronic and electrical parts, materials and instruments are required to support a practical assessment work. These are detailed below. (If you don’t wish to purchase any of these then you might want to consider the general engineering pathway as way to avoid practical work).
Electronics Kit for L3 units UA33-FEP and UA56- EEP only
Electronics Kit for L3 units UA33-FEP and UA56- EEP only You can source your own electronic parts, or request a basic e-kit from us. The kit includes a breadboard, battery holders, wires and the electronic components needed to complete assessment tasks (not practice exercises). The basic kit does not contain any instruments such as a multi-meter/function generator or oscilloscope.
The e-kits will be supplied free and are dispatched by electrical team after you are enrolled on UA56 Only send an email request the electrical team when you are starting UA56 as the contents can change (because assessments get regularly updated).
